An Article and a Conference

For those of you that receive the Above Rubies magazine, they are being mailed out this week.  I was greatly humbled by the fact that Nancy Campbell chose my testimony about God's provision to be included in the current magazine.  I know it was not of me, but all of God who blessed my life with such a testimony to tell.  It is my prayer that He will use the article to bring glory to Himself.

Also, I wanted to tell you that my regular blog post on "Small Steps to Better Health" will be missing this Friday.  Our family, Lord willing, will be attending the 2011 Family Economics Conference this weekend.  I hope to be visiting with you again via blogland real soon.  I pray you all have a wonderful weekend!

Oh wow she used your testimony! That is humbling. My sister gets that magazine so I read hers once or twice. I completely forgot about it. I look forward to hearing about your conference.

Jackie,
I'm excited to tell you I got my Above Rubies today. How exciting to see you in it. I must say, I have a hard time picturing you as a feminist! One more blessing from that issue, was another acquaintance I met in SD (on p. 23, Lisa)who planned a few prayer retreats while I was there. The Lord's arms are long enough to stretch around the nations!

Lois,
Yes, the Lord does miracles. He had changed my life drastically. And I know if He can do it for me...He can do it for anybody. So nice that you found another friend you knew in the magazine as well. God is awesome! Take care my friend!

Hi Jackie! I came to see your blog after reading your article in AR. I was encouraged by your words. Your name was very familiar to me; I think you attend (or have attended) the PCA church in Fayetteville where we were members prior to our move in 2008. We are still on their Yahoo list. It just made me laugh. Thank you for sharing your testimony with AR!

Carissa,
Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes, we did attend Providence for some time. What a small world it is! Blessings to you and your family!
