Catching My Breath!

It has been quite a while since I have blogged...quite honestly, with all that has been going on at our house, I have seriously thought about shutting down my blog.  It is just one of those seasons in life that require so very much of my time and attention.  But, I do enjoy the fact that I have connected through this blog with some wonderful ladies...and it is a great way to keep family and friends abreast of all that is going on here.  So, at the moment, I will remain, though it might be a little more sporadic than in times past.  So much has happened since I last blogged.  I won't bore you with all the details, but at the moment I have two of my children under the care of a chiroprator.  My oldest, Joy, is having to go through some neck traction and some other things while Josiah, my second oldest, is having his atlas adjusted.  The drive to the doctor takes an hour one way...so getting a second vehicle became an imperative at that point.  We searched and searched and finally decided on another minivan so we would have a newer vehicle that would carry us all.  It has been so nice to have the option to run out and get things we need at a moments notice so I am very grateful to the Lord for His provision.  We ended up getting a used vehicle, but still the shock of the price was a little hard to swallow.  Right now, the children are seeing the doctor twice a week, so that takes a good portion out of our week.  My husband has started a new job that keeps him extremely busy and we are trying to adjust to his added demands and new hours.  He has been preaching on post most Sundays lately so that has been a blessing for him and for us.  I have a long list of projects that I am going to be completing before our next school year starts...which right now is going to be around the third week of July.  God has been showing me and teaching me much during these weeks of activity.  I look forward to sharing my heart with you on so many things.  It has been a hard time for us...physically, emotionally...and now even financially.  But, to see the hand of God's generousity toward His children has been so beautiful.  It is further confirmation that He provides for our needs...always.  I feel so extremely blessed to be loved so much by Him.  How undeserving I truly am...and yet, He remains ever faithful and true.  I hope to catch up with all my blogging friends very soon.  I have missed you all.  Keep us in your prayers during this season in our lives.  God bless!

So glad to see you back! I have meant to ask if he was preaching on post yet or not. There just doesn't seem to be enough time to ask everything or to say everything. Still thinking and praying about how to go about my blog. It is come into full focus in my head so I haven't done it at all.

Oh Jackie it is so good to hear from you again! I totally understand what you are saying about the blog needing to remain in the background!! Oh that we would have balance in all things! God is so gracious to us, isn't He? What a blesing that you have seen the hand of God in providing for you all lately...how precious that is.

May the LORD give you daily the grace and strength you need to do all HE calls you to!

With Love,
Camille

I'm glad to hear from you again, and yet I understand. For selfish reasons I hope you keep blogging, as your site is such a tremendous blessing. I will keep praying for God's lovingkindness to permeate your lives, and rejoice with your husband being physically present while you go through all this.

God bless
Lois

We just went to a Strong Bonds Marriage Conference. In fact, I posted on it. You might be interested in reading my testimony about it here: http://homesteadwannabes.blogspot.com/2010/05/strong-bonds-military-marriage.html

It has changed our marriage. That is so exciting that your family is a part of that.

I sure hope you don't shut down your blog. I would miss you! I've been blogging less, too, and I feel good about it.

BTW, my kids see a chiropractor for periodic adjustments as well. I think it really helps!
